Dr. Ammr Alhoussan

Dr. Ammr Al-Houssan is a Canadian international medical graduate who studied direct entry medicine at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. This allowed him to study medicine at a young and enthusiastic age while also expanding his global reach. In 2019, he earned his MB BCh BAO degree with honors. He is an ambitious general surgeon who is dedicated to improving healthcare for future generations.
Ammr Al-Houssan aims to complete his surgical residency training at the University of Connecticut, then seek fellowship training and open his own practice to help his patients.
Al-Houssan was born and raised in Canada’s National Capital Region. In 2013, he received his Ontario Secondary School Diploma from Earl of March Secondary School in Kanata, an Ottawa suburb. Instead of enrolling in a pre-medical baccalaureate program in a North American university, Al-Houssan was accepted into RCSI’s direct entry medical program in Dublin, Ireland.
